Thankfulness
Today I'm thankful for:
The list goes on and on...I have so much to be thankful for each and every day!
- Sweet attempts at blowing kisses from my little sugar
- A warm homemade Chai tea latte
- The smiles on my face and in my heart from watching Miana go about her day
- Pieces of nibbled apples handed to me by baby hands
- A feisty, stubborn, pouty-faced daughter
- The babe saying "down" when she slides off the couch
- Listening to Miana in the kitchen with her toy puppy trying to imitate the sound it makes when she pulls it "arf arf"
- Baby kisses
- A tiny head resting on my shoulder
- ANOTHER Chai tea latte
- Tupperware stacking by a baby in a dress
The list goes on and on...I have so much to be thankful for each and every day!

Spicy Mambo
So one of our favorite places EVER to go when we're in Scottsdale is Mastro's City Hall Steakhouse. Absolutely amazing. They have a Spicy Mambo salad (which is a Caesar salad with wasabi) and it is to die for! Seriously. Here's our version:
Ingredients:
Romaine Lettuce
Chicken breasts
Blackening spice
Croutons
Caesar dressing (we cheated on this part and used the brand of Brianna's Caesar)
Wasabi
Dried cherries or cranberries (I love these in mine)
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Coat the chicken in the blackening spice and fry until cooked
Wash the lettuce and chop
Add as much wasabi to the dressing as you like
Toss the lettuce with the croutons, dressing, dried cherries (IF you want), and Parmesan
Add the chicken
ENJOY!!!
I hope I did ok for my first recipe post!!! Aaaaah I re-read it1 2 3 ok maybe 4 times and I'm still nervous I left something out. Hope it tastes ok! :)
P.S. that pink beauty next to the salad is a Prickly Pear Margarita. YUM!
AND just in case the salad didn't rock your world, here are some pictures of my beautiful daughter tonight in hopes that you will forgive me
No...I have not taken down our Christmas tree. Yes...I plan on doing it sometime in the near future.
